Wildlife Problems in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

With all of the wildlife in Idaho, it’s no wonder that the residents of Coeur d’Alene have so many wildlife problems.  The trappers in the city also have to have a wide range of experience and equipment to remove all of these animals successfully.  When it comes to trapping wildlife, it’s best to have a professional on your side to ensure the best results.

Below are a few examples of wildlife problems that locals of Coeur d’Alene have had recently.

I’ve got a huge problem with marmots.  Every spring they come into my yard and tear up the grass, dig holes everywhere, and eat my garden.  I thought they would leave after the first year but they come EVERY SINGLE YEAR. It’s exhausting to work so hard to grow my garden and all of the plants and then have these animals come and dig it all up and eat it! I am going crazy, I need someone to get these marmots away from my house and out of my yard.

We recently purchased our first home and shortly after moving in heard birds in our chimney. They were just cleaned so we know they weren\'t here before that. Being animal people, we figured they would make their nest and babies would hatch and they all would fly out and we\'d clean everything then. I had no idea that they were swallows until I saw then fly in one day, now I\'m pretty sure. It\'s been weeks now and I don\'t understand why they are all still there and haven\'t flown out. Now I can smell the odor in the basement and I\'m very scared. We have animals and obviously we don\'t want to get sick. My husband just wants to open the flue (they nested on the very bottom) when it sounds empty but I would rather everything be safely removed as well as the droppings and it be safely sanitized. Besides I don\'t want to take the chance of thinking its empty and it not and jeopardizing anyone\'s or animal’s safety. I really appreciate your help.

I have a family of 5 skunks (4 babies and a mom) that are currently living under my shed and possibly under the back patio as well. I have a fenced in yard and a dog that is not able to use it, as a result of the skunks. The babies have been coming out during broad daylight and I thought they were nocturnal animals. Would you be able to remove them? And what can I put around the perimeter of the back yard so they don\'t come back?

Wildlife can cause huge problems for both your family and your home, it’s best to get rid of them as soon as they are discovered.  If you or someone you know are having problems with wildlife, feel free to call the technician listed in this area.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Coeur dAlene and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

Coeur dAlene Wild Animal Control News, Stories, Events and Alerts

Wildlife Problems in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

Rats, bats, snakes, skunks; you name it and Coeur d’Alene has it.  There are plenty of species of wildlife that could be getting into your home and causing you grief.  Luckily, or maybe not (it depends on how you look at it), you aren’t the only one having problems.  Plenty of people have trouble with the local wildlife and are searching for help.  Don’t believe us? Read the stories below!

My teen daughter claims that while she was walking in our hallway she accidentally \"kicked\" something that was moving, brown and about 6 inches long that looked like a huge mouse or a small rat. It happened so fast, I think it most likely would have been a rat but I’m not sure. We have no idea where it went but we feel uncomfortable in our home now. Would you be able to capture this thing even if we don\'t know exactly where it is?

Five days ago I started noticing a few birds flying around my home. Just figured they were getting seasonal bugs. Then I noticed some on my eves below my rain gutters and there were a couple of nests. Now there are 30 to 40 swallows and they are trying to build nests all over the eves of my home. I went outside to see what they were doing and I could not find any after dark but they were back this morning. So now I think they are in my attic and come out in the morning. We are getting ready to sell are house and this is a horrible situation. They swoop down at you and they are creating a big mess everywhere.

Have a 30x60 finished pole barn on my property that currently seems to have a family of raccoons that have gotten into the attic somehow. I also have a barn cat that lives in the pole barn, with a cat door so he can come in and out as he needs and the raccoons have been eating his food, tearing up empty beer cans, etc., and just making a mess of things. I feed the cat every afternoon when I get home from work. He\'s not 100% feral, but I am the only one he will let approach him and he seems to be ever watchful while he eats his food. There are a couple of trees that are growing close to the pole barn that I know I have to cut down. I assume that is how they have gotten into the attic though I cannot see a hole to be sure. I was standing in the pole barn the other night around 10:00pm and heard them scampering around in the ceiling. Every attempt to catch them in a live trap has failed. I am at my wits end. I don\'t mind them coming into the pole barn itself from time to time, but having them in the attic is too much.

If you are having problems with wildlife, don’t stress!  We have a technician in your area that is ready and willing to help you as best as he can!  Feel free to give him a call and your story so that he can do what it takes to help you.
